11月25日（土）東京ビッグサイトにて、中学生科学コンクールの表彰式が行われました。東京都から200以上のチームが参加し、本校の2年女子のチームが、10位（銅賞）に入賞しました。応援有難うございました！

We went to in Australia from November 4th to 11th.
I was very nervous when I met my host family first time. However, the host family was so kind that there was no need to worry about that. From now on, I will talk about what surprised us in Australia.
Do you know about Australian schools? I tell you about the school I went to. First, the school building is single-story. In Australia, the land is large, so most building is not high. Second, length of class time., In the school I went to, the first class is 8:50 to 11:00. Afterwards, there are 40minutes of morning tea. When I'm there, we eat sweets and play the game. Then class from 11:40 to 13:15. After this, there are 40minutes of lunch time. When I’m there, we ate lunch or snuck and play outside. Lastly, class from 13:55 to 15:00. This is the end of the day. There were many other surprises about the lunch box and the how to take a class.
We went to many places in Brisbane. Do you know famous places in Australia? Please check it out when you go to Australia! First, I recommend West Chermside Shopping Centre. This is the third largest shopping mall in Australia. I went to the game center and cosmetics shop with my host family. The game arcade was similar to Japan. And there were a lot of cute hand creams in the cosmetics shop so I wanted a lot of them, and my host mother gave me. Next, it is South Bank Park. This is the center of Brisbane. There is a symbol "Brisbane". It is illuminated at night and is very beautiful. There is also a Ferris wheel here. However, unlike in Japan, it spins very fast. The land in Australia is flat, so you can see far away, and it is very beautiful.
We learned a lot during my homestay. We had precious time. We want to go there again!

私たちは11月4日から11日までオーストラリアに行きました。
ホストファミリーに初めて会ったとき、私はとても緊張しました。しかし、ホストファミリーはとても親切だったので、それについて心配する必要はありませんでした。これからは、オーストラリアで私たちが驚いたことについて話します。
オーストラリアの学校について知っていますか？私が通っていた学校についてお話しします。まず、校舎は1階建てです。オーストラリアでは、土地が広いので、ほとんどの建物は高くありません。次に、授業時間の長さです。私が通っていた学校では、最初の授業は8:50から11:00です。その後、40分のモーニングティーがあります。私がそこにいるとき、私たちはお菓子を食べたりゲームをしたりします。その後、11:40から13:15までの授業です。この後、40分のランチタイムがあります。私たちはその時間に昼食を食べたり、外で遊んだりしました。最後に、13:55から15:00までの授業があります。これで一日、終わりです。お弁当や授業の受け方については、他にも多くの驚きがありました。

11月11日（土）に第３回学校説明会（願書配布会）が行われました。今回は自治会生徒による個別相談会を実施し、多くの方に参加していただきました。自治会生徒は緊張している様子もありましたが、参加者の疑問などに、真摯に答えていました。

前期課程2年生の美化委員を中心として「千代田区一斉清掃の日」に参加しました。地域への貢献活動に参加することで、地域環境への美化意識を高めることができました。今後もこのような活動に積極的に参加し、地域との交流を深めていきましょう。
